Disposal of hospital waste
Hospital waste collected in special polypropylene bags must be placed on special trolleys and then entered into the chamber. ProcessSterilization is performed by injecting compressed steam into the chamber at a temperature of 135 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes. The chamber is evacuated in three stages using the pulse matic method. The post-vacuum stage (where the chamber pressure is reduced) acts as a drying system. In this stage, the effluent is automatically separated, sterilized and then discharged into the sewer.
The total duration of this process is 40 minutes. After the sterilization process is completed and the door on the clean side is opened, the sterilized waste can be loaded into the trolley. This waste is now considered ordinary municipal waste, its volume has been reduced by 50% and its weight by 20%.
- It has the ability to use a central steam system or an electric steam generator, or both capabilities (dual-purpose).
- If the pressure and temperature inside the chamber exceed the permissible limits, the doors will not open at all.
- In two-door machines, it is not possible to open both doors simultaneously.
